An Anzac Day Poem

This poem is read at every Dawn Service in Boulia. Proud to say I got to recite it one year.

  1. Jean Carroll née Cardno

I got to lay a wreath on behalf of my father, Arthur Thomas Cardno then of Datchet Downs, at the Dawn Service 60 plus years ago. I will always remember it.

  2. annbritton

    G’day Jean
My humblest apologises for not replying to you earlier than this.
What an amazing imprint in you memory to last this long, I can only imagine your pride at being able to lay a wreath on your father’s behalf, how wonderful for you.
Appreciate his service and for you commenting on here to let us know about it.
    Take care
    Ann
